(Scott Matherly-Plant manager for Kaneka for nine years-is the owner of Maverick Industries) Maverick has bought the existing 140,000 square-foot building, with 13 molding machines and all ancillary equipment to operate the machines (air compressors, boilers, cooling towers, etc). The facility also includes significant storage and work space which will accommodate the container refurbishment business. The facility was constructed in 2000 and the machinery is the newest of its type installed in North America.
