The requirements are as following: 1. Temperature: up to 2200oC. 2. Atmosphere: Inert gas to prevent oxidation of the components in the high temperature. The flow rate of the gas should be controlled manually. 3. Crucible size: about 2"" OD, 2"" high. 4. If induction heating (RF) will be employed, space around the crucible should be allowed for thermal insulation. 5. Pulling rates (stable): up to 100 cm/hr.
