This is an inquiry message about Application Support in the 108th China Canton Fair. (这是一条买家关于"Application Support"的询盘信息,来自第108届中国广交会。)Inquiry Message (询盘信息) Application Support Request Application Technical Support - Need replacement of Resin Level Instrumentation at Limerick Nuclear Power Application Technical Support: Request replacement for our existing Resin Level Instrumentation which is: a) ’Kynar’ transducer sensor – Kay-Ray, Inc. Model LMS15K b) transmitter monitor– Kay-Ray, Inc. Model DLM24 The application is for measuring the spent cation/anion resin level in four (4) separate Spent Resin Receiver Tanks at a Nuclear Power Plant. The tanks contain this resin and water solution which is radioactively contaminated. Once the tanks are drained of water, we then measure the left-behind spent cation/anion resin in the bottom of the tanks. (NOTE: The radiation level at the equipment is shown below.) For this application, the equipment is “Non-Safety Related” and does not require to being “Nuclear Qualified”. Kay-Ray, Inc. has been bought out by Thermo-Fisher Scientific and they do not support this existing Kay-Ray equipment nor do they have replacement. The existing level equipment was installed in 1992. Attachments’ are: 1) A copy of Kay-Ray's Digital Level Monitor Installation/Service manual, which contains both Model DLM24 and LMS15K information. In Chapter 2 of this manual are the sensor & transmitter specifications. (NOTE: A few of the pages are blank because it’s a two sided document with no information on the second side of some pages.) 2) A copy of the drawing which shows existing Spent Resin Receiver Tank physical dimension. Nozzle #13 on the Table is for the existing sensor. The location of Nozzle #13 is shown on the top of the tank (on the left side of the drawing) and the nozzle length (including the flange) is 10 inches. This tank outline and physical dimension drawing is provided for application purposes. (IMPORTANT NOTE: Several vendors have stated that for their sensor to work properly, this nozzle length be shorten by 4 inches.) RADIATION LEVELS are: The following is the “WORSE CASE” radiation exposure at the existing Kay-Ray equipment: a) For the sensor which is installed on top of the Spent Resin Receiver Tank, the “WORSE CASE” radiation levels inside the tank would be 200 mRem per hour. b) For the transmitter which is installed in front of a steel enclosure, the “WORSE CASE” radiation levels in front of the steel enclosure would be 2 mRem per hour.
