AMS2380A Grade 1 Macro structure 30 to 40 Micro structure per fig. 20 of AMS2380A No continuous grain boundary alpha FORGING ASTM B 381 (alpha beta annealed condition) Upset Ratio 2.5:1 Material is accordance with AMS 4930 Ultrasonic examination to AMS2631A Class A, Grade 1 Two discs per heat treat charge would be forged to 1.625” greater than the finished thickness. A disc 0.5” thick and full diameter (coupon) is to be parted from this forging for full macro and micro examination at the center, mid radius edge.
