I need to cool this air from 23 to 0 degrees C, so the refrigerant (according to common industry standards, right?) needs to go to –10 degrees C. This gives a heat flow of 45000 Btu/hr or 3.8 tons of refrigerants. For the parts of the chiller that are in the tube, an important note is that there will be fine dust inside with a velocity of 1750 ft/min (like a sandstorm), so the parts inside the tube (such as the coil, or whatever heat exchange unit is used) needs to be abrasion resistant.
