My home has been lifted upon piers about 8' clear from the ground. concrete below the home. I am concerned about the SUNLIGHT UV EXPOSER to the plumbing. This piping will be interconnecting piping to all fixtures BELOW the home and ran up and down piers to outside faucets, feed line, etc. Will all my problems go away with this if in fact I wrap each pipe with standard black foam insulation? please advise. the location is in southern louisiana, hot humid typical 70-100 deg. freezing at 30 degress maybe 2 times a year.
