Dear Sirs, I am looking for fused quartz glass rods (from 20 to 25 or 30 mm diameter) for some optics experiments. Do you have ‘short’ or ‘left-over’ pieces that I can purchase? I would like to have at least two pieces 20mm diam x 100mm Also the possibility of 25 or 30mm diam x 100mm. The lengths for all of these rods need to be at least 100mm, but they could also be 120 to 150 mm. A reasonably smooth scratch-free surface is desirable, but special grinding and polishing is not necessary. No polishing of the ends is necessary.
