Do you have a DOT or ECC certified electric car between USD$2000-3000? This would help but is not essential.I will have to apply to import your vehicle into Auckland, New Zealand as either a Tricycle or Moped which both have speed restrictions of 50km/h.This only allows them to be used on residential roads, but not for motorway use which is going to restrict the market.To import your electric car as a 50km/h Moped or Tricycle into New Zealand will be expensive and a first for this country.Initially the shipping, duty, certification costs and marketing will be hard to justify until I can grow a market (if there is one) in which the larger numbers will reduce these costs.Trying to discover this market will be a financial risk to me so it is in this regard that I ask your company to contribute by supplying the first sample cars at close as possible to cost. I am not sure about numbers at this stage. Putting one car into a 20 foot container would be a waste, ideally fitting as many units in without damaging them would be more risk for me but would make the shipping expenses more cost effective.If we find the samples units sell well enough to establish a profitable and growing market then we will have to negotiate a new increased supply price that your company will be happy with and in turn will reap the long term benefits from all my hard work and personal financial risk.The drive behind my ambitions is to get the first zero carbon emission cars onto NZ roads so as to help stop global warming, but I can only do this if the business is cost effective.I look forward to your reply, and if you company has had any experience with the shipping industry which could reduce this cost then I would appreciate the advice.Country:New Zealand
