notice to bidders Inquiry (采购产品): notice to bidders NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Berlin Township Board of Trustees will accept sealed bids for a 4500 psi Self Contained Breathing Apparatus Contract in accordance with the Bid Specifications on file in the office of the Township Fiscal Officer. The Berlin Township Board of Trustees subscribes to a “Buy American” policy. With respect to service, and the possible difficulty in obtaining replacement parts, the purchase of SCBA components under this contract shall be accomplished using parts made in the United States. Bid Specifications can be obtained from the Township Fiscal Officer during business hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mon.-Fri. at 3271 Cheshire Rd., Delaware, OH. All bids must be submitted to the Township Fiscal Officer at 3271 Cheshire Rd., Delaware, OH 43015 in a sealed envelope marked “SCBA Bid”. Bids will be received until 7:00 p.m., EST, Monday, November 26, 2007 at 3271 Cheshire Rd., Delaware, OH where, at the Regular Trustee Meeting that date, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 8:00 p.m. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid amount and in the form of a cashiers check or acceptable insurance company bond to guarantee that if said bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of it properly secured. If such proposal is accepted, the bidder will, after ten (10) days after written notice of acceptance, enter into a contract and properly secure the performance thereof by a bond of an acceptable surety company in the amount of 100% of the bid price. The Trustees reserve the right to reject any and/or all bids, to accept the lowest and best bid, and to waive informalities.
