Inquiry (采购产品): question Hello, I am currently using Dipropylene Glycol as the base oil for "reed diffusers". If you are not familiar with this product, you may have seen bottles of fragrance oils with reeds sticking out of them. You see this product in many boutiques and has become quite popular. I would like to replace the DPG completely with other product that would have a superior wicking ability. The DPG clogs the reeds and is just not suitable. I am having a hard time determining what that might be. I find that many resellers and wholesalers are selling non DPG base oil, they are blends, but I do not know the ingredients. I do know that one of the ingredients is Isopropyl myristate. I do not want to use alchohol. I have found that one of the problems with DPG is it's specific gravity is too high. So basically, I am looking for oils that are less expensive than the Isopropyl myristate, with low specific gravity, and appropriate to my use, to develop my own blend.
