Inquiry (采购产品): Specialty packing and crating design Hello: We are hoping that you can help us with special packing and crating designs when we have such projects. We would provide you all the dims, details, photos and drawings of the pieces, and we would ask you to design the packing and crating suitable for international ocean or air freight. We would build the packing and crating to your specs and do the shipping. A current example: Here are our shop drawings for the granite tabletop / water feature assemblies we are fabricating in China. If you can do it, we need you to provide us with a design for packing and crating these safely so that when they arrive, the epoxied assembly is intact and just as strong as when it was packed at the origin. We are open to any creative solutions, and have thought of everything from mounting on a heavy gauge H-beam (to avoid any deflection), to figuring out a way to suspend the slab assemblies, to using some kind of expanding foam to "suspend" them inside a wooden crate. Or simply a creative way to use wood, foam rubber and hardware. Can you help? I can send you a photo of one of the assemblies from the top. Bottom 3 pieces not assembled/epoxied yet. We are nearing the end of fabrication. Right now there are three (3) assemblies. Total length is over 3 meters long and each assembly weighs approximately 2,000 lbs. We are open to shipping each separately or shipping them together. Most forklifts we use though would prefer the total weight not exceed about 3,000 bls. We can order heavy weight equipment on this end, including cranes if necessary for offloading whatever we pack. Main concern is safe shipping and delivery to job site.
