I have been trying to find information on the glass tops for electric kitchen ranges. My concern is if I plan to use my Home Canner Pressure cooker thats filled with 7 quarts of bean, etc. it is quite heavy. Is the weight a problem and the size around the burner to large to get an even distribution of heat to keep the pressure steady. Is there a chance of breaking the top with something that heavy.
