Inquiry (采购产品): photochemical etch to .001 Here are our specs: Fine etch grooving: We want to locate , and work with, three thicknesses stainless steel, fully hardened: .004", .003" and .002" (100, 75, 50 microns) . The plates can vary in size (ideal 200X300mm or so), but must be able to accommodate reed banks of 137X30mm size. Each reed bank has ten reeds etched into it. Reed sizes vary between: .3mmX5mm and up to 2mmX20mm. Average about 1mmX10mm There are ten reeds per reed bank. Each reed bank is 137mmX30mm and each is etched almost all the way around so we can pop them out. The ideal etch is .001" but .002" will do. In millimeters: 25 microns will do. Ideal would be down to 10 microns or anything in between. The walls of the etch groove do not have to be vertical. In fact we would prefer if they were V shaped with the narrow side being .001" (25 microns) and the wide side being .002" or up to .003" (50-75 microns). It also does not matter if the edge of the narrow side of the gap is exactly parallel. The gap can waver as long as the two sides do not touch. Both these facts should give the etcher less strict tolerances and an easier etch. Our next etch will be again 720 reeds, or as many as we can accommodate on the size of the plates, which we will need to know to engineer our geometry. We can provide the geometry photo-ready as per etcher's specs. We are also looking for 1cm inside diameter (ID) or 1cm outside diameter (OD) lightweight, strong carbon tubing up to 4 feet long. We have a budget for this prototype phase and expect to go into production within a year or as soon as we can assemble the materials and procedures.
