Plastic Rod Inquiry (采购产品): Plastic Rod Tues., July 31, 2007 3:05 p.m., Mtn. Time Zone My company is going to introduce a new product as soon as possible. Generically it is a "windsock" of different sizes. The small size is such that it will be attached with two bridle lines to a rod. We've considered using wood dowel rod, yet we favor the use of rod made of plastic, or another product of your suggestion. Initially projected annual use is 562,000 each. Upon introduction of our product this number could increase substantially. The characteristics of the finished rod for our use are as follows: LENGTH - 24" DIAMETER - 3/8" - 5/8", depending upon type and design of material, whether solid, "webbed" interior, etc. SHAPE - Can be round, square, etc. Your suggestions? LIGHT WEIGHT STIFF - Like a wood dowel rod, yet flexible so as to not break easily UV RESISTANT TWO 1/8" HOLES - One within 1/2" from one end of the rod, the second hole approx. 6" below the first hole. ENDS OF ROD - rounded, chamfered, or smoothed COLOR - Varied, possibly with greatest number in black or clear. Price diffences? INEXPENSIVE - Inexpensive as possible, yet with focus on quality. PRINTING - Can printing be done on such rod? What are the minimum requirements and costs for printing on the rod? Are there price breaks for printing on the rod? Orders received could range from a minimum of 50 to several thousand. As we're nearing the end of prototype work and testing, I will appreciate your immediate response. A few samples of product you suggest for our immediate use will be of great importance and greatly appreciated. Samples of printing on rod would be beneficial.
