We have been requested to develop a Proposal to supply, install and commission an appropriate air emission treatment system to treat emissions from the roasting (cooking) of barely. Emissions from the process have historically resulted in community odour complaints. We have obtained and analysed emissions from a trial process operations and can provide these as a basis for specification/ definition of a treatment scheme to achieve required odour and particulate removal. We are aware that a bag filter treatment stage will be necessary to combat particulate (700 - 900 mg/L) potential fouling of catalyst reagent and also undestand that a regenerative thermal oxidiser (RTO) may be a preferred treatment scheme.
