Inquiry (采购产品): Color recognition sensors Hi, A question from across the pond! At the present time, I am involved in a project that seeks to discriminate between the (North American) grey squirrel and the indigenous red squirrel of the UK. The problem is that the grey squirrel carries a pox which is deadly to the red squirrel but the greys manage to acquire immunity from the pox. This is a very serious business, since the red squirrels are slowly being exterminated from their natural habitat. What I am looking for is a sensor which can tell the difference between the colors of each so that we can then create an action plan to effectively deal with the problem. Obviously, the solution has to be relatively cheap to produce – since there will be quite a large number of units required. Could you please let me know if you think we are heading in the right direction and whether your sensors might be suitable? If not, perhaps you can give us the benefit of your thoughts on possible alternatives.
