Custom-ordered panel Inquiry (采购产品): Custom-ordered panel Looking for a matrix shutter for transmitting white light (supposedly E-Paper) Dear sirs and madams. For a new device (which is under development now) our firm is looking for a controllable matrix shutter for transmitting white light. Supposedly it may be a flexible E-Paper matrix about 20x30 centimeters, covered with rectangular pixels about 0.3x0.3 cm or 0.5x0.5 cm, controlled by a computer. Pixels are B/W (transparent/opaque state) with maximal contrast. Tell me please, whether you have any stock-produced modules similar to that, or can you produce something similar to that to our order (as some custom-built sample). Today we need some test sample to try it as a unit for our new device (which is under development now). A quotation is possible after the pilot device testing. NOTE: why do I say “E-paper”, etc. Ordinary LCD matrices with polarized elements are not proper for our purpose. The problem with LCD is that they have losses of light (for their transparent state) about 50 % - that is the feature of any ordinary polarized LCD.
