Inquiry (采购产品): custom muffler, based on 30 micron liquid filter My company is developing a pneumatic device which produces a high velocity, cold exhaust flow that carries with it a high frequency noise. In order to take care of this noise, we were prototyping with mufflers from Mcmaster-Carr and found some good results. These mufflers did not restrict the flow of the exhaust very much, which is essential to the component's function, as too much back pressure would cause the motor to operate inefficiently. One of our engineering consultants at Medivative Technologies sent us a sample pack from both Porex and MicroPore. When playing with these samples, we observed that your "30 Micron Liquid Filter" muffled the noise substantially more than any other sample in both kits. Therefore, I would like to know more about this liquid filter. Will it restrict the flow of the exhaust coming from the motor? Can it be custom molded to certain dimensions? Are there any other materials/porosities we should be considering? Are there more specific sample packs available for our needs? Any information you can provide would be extremely helpful, and since this issue is urgent, we would like to start prototyping these custom mufflers ASAP.
