Inquiry (采购产品): wood screw anchors I'm looking for a wood anchor about 4 inches long and will accept a 3/8 dia by 6 inch long galvanized lag screw. The anchor is to be inserted into the exterior window brick mold. the lag screw is to be inserted into and through the insert and fastened into the window 2 by 4 structure. The purpose of the aformentioned is to support plywood to protect a window(s) during a hurricane. Our home is on a cove which is open to the ocean and window protection is required by home insurance.
