Inquiry (采购产品): sump pumps To whom it may concern, DEP of NYC is in the process of designing the mechanical equipment that is going to be used in Stage 2 of City Water Tunnel # 3 through a new specification contract . Submersible pumps are part of the said equipment. Approximately 40 pumps all together half being different. Below are some key issues that are required. Major pump components for all pumps shall be designed to withstand a corrosive environment which is experience in our shafts. Metal surfaces other than stainless steel, in contact with pump shall be protected accordingly. The pump shall be flange mounted. The pumps should be equipped with a submersible hermetically sealed motor. The pumps should be such that they operate within ±10% of the Best Efficiency Performance. There will be two types of pumps: The first 20 shall be fully automatic, submersible type pumps suitable for continuous operation, and shall have a minimum capacity of not less than 100 gallons pr minute operating against a total dynamic head of 3! 3 feet. Its' sump pit size is 6’ x 3’ x 3’ (depth). The second 20 shall be fully automatic, submersible type pumps suitable for continuous operation, and shall have a minimum capacity of not less than 130 gallons per minute operating against total dynamic head of 210 feet. Its' sump pit size is 5’-6” x 4’-4” x6’-9” (depth). Please let me know if your company can supply/design the above requested pumps.
