Inquiry (采购产品): Non metallic fastners We make a 90" by 48" (layflat) coated, woven, polypropylene bag that is used to stuff a bale of cotton into that weighs 500 lbs. Presently, we cut the tubed fabric and sew accross the width of the bag. We then stack the individual bags into 250 pattern bundles and sell to the cotton gins. The cost is becoming very high and we must change the way we make bags. My question is, do you have a Plastic, polyester, or polypropylene tie, button or staple that will puncture the fabric and hold the fabric together to form a seam. If so, does it have an automatic applicator that would move accross the width of the fabric, form a seam every 90" and roll the roll of pre tacked/stapled bags into a roll of bags. The fabric is approximately 8 to 10 mils thick and weighs 7 ozs per sq yd at any given place. There is not a lot of pressure on the bottom seam from the force of the cotton but the staples/ties need to be strong to hold the bottom edges of the fabric and gussets together. The grab tensile for the fabric is 120 lbs. Let me know if there is such an animal as described above.
