Perhaps you have seen little waist packs that tourists use for odds and ends like sunglasses, keys, change, cash, etc. I am planning to add cable to the webbing belt on some of these packs, sandwiching it in between the original webbing and an additional piece. The idea is to defeat the pickpockets who cut the webbing belts of such packs to grab them. I don't know what diameter cable would be best. I'd like your ideas and quotes for different diameters that you think might work. A 7 x 19 cable should work well, I would think. I had in mind stainless, vinyl-coated cable. Many thanks.
