Inquiry (采购产品): Slicer Head Lift I'm a project engineer for Frito Lay and I'm working on a project to design a lift system for 48 lb potato slicer heads. They are manually lifting the heads out of the slicer when the blades need to be replaced which is an ergonomic risk. I'm looking for a simple solution. We need to be able to hook on to the slicer head (a little lower than waist height) lift it up a about 2 feet and place it on to a cart. I'd rather not use electric or pneumatics since its in a wash down area. I like the idea of using some type of counter balance mechanism (i.e. tool balancer). Simple and easy to use. The tool balancer would work if there was an easy way to extend the cable to the slicer head and then engage the counterbalancing mechanism to lift the head and move it to the cart. Are you aware of any device that is available that may work? **** Hidden Message ***** Eric Battino 13904 Company: Frito Lay E-mail: eric.p.battino@stny.rr.com **** Hidden Message ***** eric.p.battino@stny.rr.com
