Pricing on grinding, coding Inquiry (采购产品): Pricing on grinding, coding John Peng from PCC Structurals, another divison of our company, contacted you in January about pricing on some of your services. We are looking to finish some 718 .062 x 18" aerospace TIG wire for them. Here's what John gave me: Centerless grinding to remove .002" (.001" per side)- $.12 - $.15 per piece, depending on quantity. Q. Do you do offer abrading as an alternative, removing only .0006" (.0003" per side)? Color coding - orange/white $.04 per piece 100% alloy verification $.02 per piece Packaging with customer supplied materials available, but not quoted. We are processing about 2500+ lbs. for PCC now. Our first order to you would be for around 250 lbs., then approximately 700-800 lbs. x 3 separate shipments for the balance. Could you verify these prices or re-quote? Also, an estimated turnaround time for the shipments mentioned above? In addition, if it looks like this will be ongoing business for us, we'd have to qualify your company as an approved supplier, which would mean a quality audit (a day). Would this be acceptable?
