Inquiry (采购产品): Bidirectional Flowmeter Dear SIr or Madam, I'm Juneseok Lee (graduate student) in Civil Engineering Department of Virginia Tech and doing an experiment on water hammer effects in pipe network system. We are looking for a flowmeter (liquid is pure drinking water) that can measure bi-directional flow. We will connect it to DAQ system and want to measure many times (say 10 to 50) per second. We want to capture flow behavior when we suddenly close the valve or turn off the pump. So, it should measure positive and negative direction flow several times within fraction of a seconds. The pipe size is 1/2" or 3/4" size and the flow rate is 0-15 GPM. As mentinoed, it should be able to measure bi-directional flow. Also, do we need any additional power supply to run the flowmeter? Lastly, what is the output from the flowmeter? And what is the sampling rate per second? As mentioned, it will be connected to DAQ so we should know the output from the flowmeter. We would greatly appreciate if you can kindly recommend a flowmeter as soon as possible.
