Inquiry (采购产品): Conestoga field glasses Sirs, I do scolarly research on the design and history of field glasses (which are Galilean instruments, without prisms) and prismatic binoculars. I have recently learned that a CONESTOGA COMPANY (is it yours?) used to manufacture excellent Galilean-type FIELD GLASSES and that these field glasses were used by the US Army, especially the Cavalry, during the Indian Wars in the 1850s to 1870s in the Western United States. I would like very much to find out more about these field glasses. Were they manufactured by your company? Are there catalogs? Brochures? I would greatly enjoy hearing from you about these questions. Thank you for this courtesy.
