Inquiry (采购产品): Insulated firewall bolts I have a need for copper or brass (for reasons of low resistance high current load) 3/8" x 24 or 7/16" x 20 thread bolt insulated bolt. I have seen fittings for such purposes for use on boats, but they appear to have a plastic insulator (with tabs for securing) and nickel or zinc plating. I am seeking a fitting with a non-combustible, non-melting electric insulator for use thru a thin stainless firewall. The insulator needs to be hard to avoid being cut by the stainless. The SS firewall and insulation materials on both sides are about 3/16"-1/4" thick when compacted. Insulator around bolt should be no more than 3/4" OD. I need room for several lugs to attach on both sides of the firewall, so non-threaded shank needs to be about 1/2". A standard bolt, or double-ended thread fitting should work.
