Previously our company had been operating in Kabul for more than 25 years. The chaos of the 1990’s in Afghanistan resulted in the business moving gradually out of Afghanistan. But as the situation started improving in 2002 we have once again entered the market. We own a stone crushing plant, a concrete batching plant and also a block making factory. We are currently active in many fields including engineering & contracting, travel, trading, money transfer (Western Union), civil construction etc. We have completed a world bank financed contract to rehabilitate the district heating system supplying space heating and hot water to over ten thousand apartments in the district of Micro-rayon, Kabul. We are also working on many projects like rehabilitation of power generation and transmission systems, water supply and sewage systems, domestic and industrial heating systems, etc. Apart from the above our trading division is one of the major suppliers to the Afghan Government, NGO's and various UN Agencies supplying Russian jeeps, armored vehicles, gensets, military tents etc. At present we are working on a Power Distribution network project in Kabul, Afghanistan.
