Cage Nut Fastener Plating for 250-hours of Salt-Spray Protec Inquiry (采购产品): Cage Nut Fastener Plating for 250-hours of Salt-Spray Protection? To whom it may concern, We use a large amount of five different sizes of cage nuts (square nut retainers, as seen in the attached picture) in our products. The cabinets that these cage nuts are used in must surpass 250 hours of salt-spray / fog testing. We have attempted to find stainless steel cage nuts, with no luck. Stainless steel cage nuts are simply not available any more, unless one buys in quantities of 50,000 to 100,000 pieces. What type of plating do you offer that would pass the salt-spray testing? Can you provide a spec sheet or salt-spray testing data that indicates the quality of the plating? We would need to send our existing stock of cage nuts to get plated. The sizes we use are as follows: * 10-32 Cage Nut, .025-.063 panel thickness * 10-32 Cage Nut, .064-.105 panel thickness * 10-32 Cage Nut, .093-.126 panel thickness * 1/4-20 Cage Nut, .064-.105 panel thickness * 5/16-18 Cage Nut, .093-.126 panel thickness We can provide cage nuts in the base steel finish, if easier to plate. Can you provide a pricing sheet for the plating of a batch of cage nuts, as well as projected lead times for accomplishing that batch?
