Inquiry (采购产品): Quote This RFQ is going to several local flooring contractors in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Stagecraft Industries, Inc. is seeking bids to provide and install a floor covering on a motorized retractable stage being installed in a private school in Philadelphia. Description: the stage measures 16’ deep and is 28’ wide. The folding stage is covered by 1 1/8” T&G sub-flooring installed by Stagecraft. The stage splits in the middle and is folded up in an “A” frame shape for storage when not in use. Stagecraft will cover the perimeter edges with aluminum angle iron after the flooring is installed to cap the flooring edges and the exposed plywood edge. Bid Outline: Provide a black flooring material appropriate for stages. Commonly they are slightly textured and are similar to linoleum. The stair treads are covered in a black PolyTrac material from the manufacturer. The stage floor covering should be durable for uses as varied from one speaker at a podium, choral risers and chairs, and graduating student parades. (Commercial grade flooring) The stage will flex slightly as it is moved from the horizontal position of 2’ above the gym floor to the stored position mentioned earlier. It is possible to route the edges with a flush trimmer bit against the plywood edges on all sides, if desired. No fasteners will be permitted through the top surface, only surface adhesion of the backside of the material to the plywood. We have done this numerous times successfully with flooring subcontractors in Arizona Utah and New Mexico and they typically take about half a day or less as the whole stage area is flat, 2’ above the floor and straight edges on all sides. Our target installation for the stage is beginning on February 12, 2007. The flooring would need to go down on February 14. Location is ~ North 6th St. and Poplar (19122) The job is private so there is no prevailing wage requirement. Stagecraft will issue a P.O. to the successful bidder based on responsiveness and cost.
