Inquiry (采购产品): Woven Airbag Like Tubing? I am an engineer, working on a hobby animatronics project and possible future business through my company. It's a bit involved, but basically I want to make a simple pneumatic actuator called a 'pleated air muscle' or 'PAM'. (the original research, done in Belgium, can be found by Googling if interested). Basically, this is a pleated fabric tube, capped at both ends. When the tube is inflated, the folds unfurl, creating a shortened 'pumpkin' shape. To work, I need a fabric tube that holds air pressure (not critical, but about 10 psi max is a good start and the higher the better), and it can handle repeated flexure. The original design used Kevlar; I was thinking of a coated nylon like an airbag like material with better flex fatigue properties. The diameter and length of tubing are not critical, but I was thinking of a nominal 4" diameter by about 1'-2' long. Do you make any standard product like this? If so, would it be possible to get a sample sent? I can cover shipping if required.
