Inquiry (采购产品): Lifetime Lease Not Honored Hello, I sent a message to customer service, and I have not received a response. Perhaps that was the wrong email address to inquire about my question. I purchased a lifetime lease for oxygen, actylene, and argon tanks from Vancouver Welding Supply in 1976 for the argon tank at a cost of $119.50 and in 1979 for the oxygen/acetylene tanks at a cost of $219.35. Air Gas purchased Vancouver Welding Supply. I wanted to have a tank refilled, and Air Gas employees would not refill the tank. I received information from Troy Cromton that the lease will not be honored. He is located at Air Gas Nor Pac, 800 W. Harney St., Vancouver, WA 98660-3043, Phone (360) 696-4605. I have all my reciepts for proof of purchase. Troy said that I would have to return the tanks and purchase new ones. I have already paid a high price for the tanks through a lifetime lease. I feel that paying about six hundred dollars more just becasue Air Gas does not want to honor a lifetime lease from the previous welding supplier is rediculous. I can understand why you may not want to continue offering lifetime leases; however, you could offer service to customers who have purchased lifetime leases from Vancouver Welding Supply after aquiring that welding supply business. The action you have taken is not a good business practice; furthermore, it burdens your constomers with an additional expense.
