He was initially contracted to trouble shoot recurring failures with our mechanical tank gauging system. He was then asked to initiate a Preventative Maintenance Program for the tank gauges and transmitters. Most recently, he was engaged to train our in-house instrument technicians on proper gauge repair procedures. In all cases, he exhibited outstanding skill, strong work ethic and professional behavior. To cite a few specific examples, he discovered a subtle change in an OEM part specification that was creating a misalignment with the older gauges in our system. After discovery, he was able to machine the replacement parts and achieve excellent performance without replacing the entire gauge. As part of his PM program, he not only performed the maintenance, but created and maintained a reporting system to track the work and provide documentation as required for Federal Trade Zone certification.
