Inquiry (采购产品): Illinois Secretary of State Police Sirs, The Illinois Secretary of State Police is now taking bids on new metal hand stamping tools. Our use for these hand stamps is the stamping of serial numbers on custom motorcycle frames. The serial numbers consist of both alpha and numeric characters and these serial numbers are stamped on the headstock of the motorcycle frame, a cylindrical piece of the frame at which the triple tree of the front fork is mounted. Due to the stress at this location, this particular piece of the frame is often fabricated of much harder steel than the rest of the frame. The individual stamps required have to be of a heavy duty nature that are expected to last for several years over repeated applications. Due to the nature of the stamping process a "gang stamp" system will not work. The stamps have to be used individually with a hammer. The font on the stamps must be 3/16" and should be of a clear style preferably with characters with unique shapes so that they can be identified when viewing only the top or bottom of the completed stamp.
