RoHS Audit Inquiry (采购产品): RoHS Audit 9 January 2007 ATC Power Systems, Inc. RoHS EFFECTS AUDIT Scope: ATC Power Systems, Inc. is auditing the electrical and mechanical parts it procures to determine the effects that resulted in the parts manufacturer’s efforts to become RoHS compliant. Since ATC provides equipment for it’s military customers, RoHS compliance in itself is not required and not necessarily desired. Nevertheless, ATC understands that many component manufacturers have or are in the process of making their products RoHS compliant. Because of this, we need to know, as a result of the RoHS compliant effort, what changes (if any) has the manufacturer made in the design or the assembly process of that part. RoHS compliance tries to eliminate the following materials from the manufacturing of the parts: A. Lead B. Mercury C. Cadmium D. Hexavalent Chromium E. Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB’s) F. Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE’s) If, as part of your RoHS compliant effort, you plan to eliminate or change any of the above material from your manufacturing process, ATC needs to know what material you plan to eliminate, when you plan to eliminate the material, and what effect the changes has on the electrical and/or mechanical integrity of the part. Any information you can provide is appreciated.
