Inquiry (采购产品): Twin screw extruder for XPS Boards Dear Mr. or Ms. We are interest in your twin screw extruder for EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) product: We are planning make modernization for EPS sheet production line. 1. Current production device has been equipped two stage system with two single screw extruders First extrude for melting and mixing and second extruder for mixing and decrease melt temperature Nowadays in the production are used refrigerant gas mixture for expanding (40% R22 + 60% R142B) and nucleating master batch. PS pellets 2. We want to change process by using CO2 + alcohol gas mixture for expanding. For this kind of process we must change many parts of process. a. First extruder must be twin screw extruder for better mixing. Output we need 400-600 kg/h. There is multi-piston pumps station for expanding gas in the production line. Ready product volume weight is ~36 kg/m3 This line is equipped with gravimetric dosing unit for Granule formula main raw material and additives. Total 5 different materials. Main raw material PS (example BASF 158K) 50% to 98% Reclaim (shape as pellet) PS (example BASF 158K) 0,0% to 48% 1.1 Nucleating additive master batch 1,0 % to 2,0 % 1.2 Colorant master bath 0,2 % to 2,0 % 1.3 Fire retardant master batch 2,0 % to 6,0 % 1.4 Some special additive slip, antioxidant 0,2 % to 4,0 % Gas/liquid formula CO2 pumping by high pressure multi piston pumps, Pressure 3500 N/m2. Alcohol pumping by high pressure multi piston pumps, Pressure 3500 N/m2. Capacity of gas pumping in to twin screw extruder is 3,5 to 4,5% from production capacity (400-600 kg/h) Barrel should be gas tight and must be fitted with spacer ring for injection of the blowing agent (CO2 and Alcohol mixture.)
