CLEANING OF FUEL NOZLES Inquiry (采购产品): CLEANING OF FUEL NOZLES Dear Sir, We address to you with hope that you can help us to find an ultrasonic system for fuel nozzle internal cleaning. Our Company has attention to improve cleaning of CFM 56 jet engine fuel nozzles by introducing ultrasonic cleaning of internal passages of nozzles. This kind of cleaning mean that ultrasonic machine must have pump which will take cleaning solution from ultrasonic tank, pump that solution through nozzle back to ultrasonic tank, and again taking solution from the tank pump through nozzle and back to tank…and so on. We have Parker Hannifin fuel nozzles P/N's 6810184M10 to 37, 6840023M1 to 17 (GE P/N's 9321M92G10 to G37, 1317M47G01 to G17) ,Woodward fuel nozzles P/N's 508P270-08 to -45 (GE P/N's 1317M33G08 to G45), and Fuel Systems TEXTRON nozzles. Ultrasonic cleaning is not everyday job. Nozzle cleaning will depend of number of engines in shop and nozzles replacement during line replacements (this mean approx. 20-30 nozzle sets per year or 400-600 nozzles per year with possibility of work expansion). TAT is about 3-4 weeks but we have spare set so time at this point is not essential. Manufacturers recommendation for cleaning time: Parker recommend 30 min (but not to exceed 1,5 hours) and Woodward recommend minimum 30 min. There is a several tehnical demands for this system: 1. Cleaning description: ? Possibility to set cleaning cycle parameters to alternate purging of nozzle for a minimum of 4 minutes with continuous ultrasonic cleaning. Alternating cycle will run a minimum of 30minutes. Solution will be heated during this cycle to 160°-180°F (70°-82° C). ? Process tank will be automatically be filled with hot water heated to 160°-180°F (70°-82° C) covering nozzles completely , to allow hot water to be pumped through the nozzles. 2. Pump: ? Every nozzle have to be pressurized to100psi to allow fuel metering valve to open. ? We want to clean 4 nozzles in same time, during one cycle. ? We will need pump powerful enough to pump cleaning solution or hot water simultaneous through 4 nozzles. NOTE: In the engine fuel nozzle operating pressure is max 600 psig (4137 kPa) with flow rate of 700 pph (317,5 kg/hr) of jet fuel . This pump is additional accessory to standard ultrasonic cleaning system and definitely should be filter before recirculation pump. 3. Ultrasonic power intensity: ? 20-40kHz frequency with power rate of 6-11 watts/square inch (0,9-1,7 watts/cm2) of tank cross-section. ? For system with piezoelectric transducers, the power rating in watts/volume must be 55-56 watts/gallon(14,5-14,8 watts/liter). Do not exceed 56 watts/gallon (14,8 watts/liter). ? For system with magnetostrictive transducers, the power rating in watts/volume be 79-81 watts/gallon (20,9-21,4 watts/liter). Do not exceed 81 watts/gallon (21,4 watts/liter). ? Processing tank must be equipped with heating and/or cooling elements that can control the temperature of the cleaning solution. ? Processing tank must have possibility to program duration of cleaning and automatic process of rinsing with cold and hot water. 4. Chemical solutions: ? Chemicals will be used for cleaning are: CeeBee J84,Turco no. 4181,Oakite 33 or Enprep 576. 5. Ultrasonic inside tank dimensions: ?
