Inquiry (采购产品): leak detection Hi, I have your Gen- ear leak detection equipment. I am looking for information that can assist me in becoming more profficient with the instrument. I have the pamphlet that came with the unit along with the video tape, both of which I have been through time and time again. Along with using the unit on average once or twice a week for the past thirteen months, often times much more than that. I would think that this is adequate (if not considerably more) experience than would be required to be quite profficient with the unit. Although I am usually correct in my estimate of location I find that it is still very difficult to distinquish the exact location of say a pinhole in a 1/2" copper supply line when a. it has been leaking for a long period of time and a sort of cavern has been created by the running water. b. when the water is traveling along the pipe inside of the plastic pipe sleeve and has found another exit point before the pipe terminates above ground. C. Background noise is sometimes extremely prohibiting in finding leaks it seems like everything else comes through better than the leak or they sound so similar it is confusing. You could be wondering if I am braindead or just slow but I do have above average inclination for most tools and instruments and I just feel that I should be more comfortable with my abilities with this unit. Along with wondering if the unit may fluctuate depending on its temperment. Any sort of reading material or advise that you could direct my way would be greatly appreciated. Also I am wondering about the cable that connects to the button. With the button pushed moving a finger slightly on the stainless box creates quite a bit of sound and it is just about impossible to hold something and not move. Is this a shielding problem or is it normal.
