Inquiry (采购产品): Evaporation tank Needed My 13 year old son and I are interested in making maple syrup next spring. This year we made some using a camp cooking tripod and a large soup pot but this took forever because the opening was not very large, ~ 12 inches. We have been looking for large flat pans since then that coould sustain the wood heat but have not found any. So I am interested in pricing a stainless steel evaporation pan for our backyard maple sugaring operation. We even considered using a stainless steel sink but the drain is a problem! A custom pan may be cost prohibitive but it seemed like worth asking. The dimensions are not specific but the pan needs to be at least 3-4 inches high, and 2.5 to 3 feet long, 12 to 18 inches wide. I don't know about gauge but it needs to be able to sustain high heat from a wood fire that brings the sap to a boiling point and holds it there for 12 - 15 hours at a time. In the best of worlds this deal would have a spigot drain that we could drain off some of the boiled product periodically. Anyway, can you let me know what something like this might run, if you even make them?
