Inquiry (采购产品): e-coating capability My name is Andy Torrence and I work for Spartan Chassis, Inc. Spartan is a custom assembler of motor home chassis, Fire trucks and military vehicles. Spartan Motors builds fire trucks and specialty chassis for a variety of uses. We are presently engaged in developing a new fire truck that will be fabricated by Experi-Metal Inc in Sterling Hts, MI. The cab is formed from galvaneal steel, spot-welding and further bonded with Dow BetaMate adhesive. The cab is approximately 96” wide by 122” long by 80” high. We are looking for an e-coater than can fully dip the completely-fabricated cab with Class A quality finish. The success of the project rests in part in having the cab in a state of readiness to paint with either no sanding or hand work required. We are told that this is possible and often done in the automotive industry. However, the e-coater who handled our prototypes kept telling us that they could not guarantee the Class A finish because of the base material (galvaneal).
