Inquiry (采购产品): Marl deposits Hello: Don't know if I'm in the right place or not. I have about 1-1/2 miles of 20-inch steel ex-natural gas distribution pipes in western Virginia now carrying highly mineralized water from a spring to a hydro powerhouse -- two pipes each about 3/4 of a mile long. The plant has not operated in several years, but during the ten years it did operate before that, the pipes built up 1-3 inches of marl (calcium carbonate, mostly)that plated out onto the pipes. (Pretty hard stuff that seems to require a jack hammer to remove physically.) The two pipes can be separated and independently treated, and after initial cleaning (however that might be done) the pipes can be used alternatively as each can meet our production needs while the other is being treated to avoid future buildups. Got any ideas on either: 1) how to perform an initial cleaning; 2) how to prevent future buildup in the way mentioned or some other way. Thanks for your consideration. **** Hidden Message ***** Armand Thieblot 220 W.
