Holiday greetings, if a bit late Inquiry (采购产品): Holiday greetings, if a bit late Dear Sir or Madam, Would you please pass the following on to JoAnn Pettus? Thanks. Dear JoAnn, I hope that you had a great Christmas and that the New Year will be very good to you and yours. I have taken the week after Christmas off as vacation and it is a great pleasure to sleep late, read the entire paper, AND catch up with friends. We are very fortunate that both of our children live close by in a time when this is so exceptional. The family got together for Christmas breakfast and presents and then for dinner. Colleen's husband's mother, her best friend, and his brother's girlfriend joined us for dinner. Colleen's identical twin sons are now 14 months old. Grandparenthood is the only thing that lives up to its hype. Sean's first child, Liam O'Neill Strode, is due on or about March 3. O'Neill is Peggy's maiden name so his name will be a nice combination of an Irish first name and then both of our roots. So far, Sean's wife Natalie has had no problems with the pregnancy. The obstetrician does expect that Liam will be a sizable boy. Both parents were over 8 pounds at their births. Natalie, Sean's wife, is in her first year of a psychiatry residency. Sean continues to be a Deputy County Prosecutor and was promoted this year from the juvenile courts to the drug courts. Peggy has retired and is not a full time care taker for the twins but a solid first assistant. God does well by having most children come individually. The twins are really good babies but doing double duty is hard work. We have no idea how the parents of triplets and more cope without loads of help. I am still plugging away at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. My job has moved to more and more administration and less and less teaching and direct patient care. I am not entirely happy about this but the work remains interesting, the co-workers are good folks, and the cause is great. The largest part of my work plate is disaster preparedness for health professionals in Arkansas so I hope that I do not become regarded as Doctor Doom. Pushing research, faculty development, and improvement of the 6 family medicine residency programs in the Arkansas AHEC are other parts. To continue to communicate as a family physician, I became the third employee of a company started in our University's business incubator ten years ago which offers e-mail medical information. It has been a great way to do what I love best about medicine, which is the personal interaction with people. This has been much appreciated as my clinical role has had to be cut out and a second income is very appreciated as well. In hunting for an e-mail address, I had the opportunity to surf your company's web pages, which are very well done and very impressive. Congratulations on helping to renovate the old gray lady the Cotton Bowl. Do they play any games there other than the Bowl Game and the TX-OU Game? Business at Stanford and Ohio State is really big leagues, not to mention the Razorback's track stadium (where the Hogs to continue to win). Are both boys with you in the business now? Best wishes to you and the boys and the business for 2007!
