Inquiry (采购产品): septic problem I found your address while trying to find an answer to a septic system problem. Can you please answer a question for me....... I recently bought a home that has a Hydroaction septic system. (We haven't yet moved into the house, but we are out there every other day or so to work on the house). We had a company come out and inspect the system and show us how to use it etc. One day the light on top came on -- we called the company and they came out and said it needed a new compressor. They replaced the compressor and now it makes a LOUD humming noise. The light came on again -- they said the new compressor was bigger and gets hot so the hose slipped off. They fixed the hose and the thing works, but it hums really loud all the time. They say it's just because the compressor is so large. They charged me $460 for the compressor and $150 for labor. Did I get scammed? Should a properly working compressor be so loud?
