Inquiry (采购产品): crating for international shipment Hello, I have a few personal items (furniture) that I would like shipped to me overseas - I work in Paris, France but my hometown is Louisville. I'll be home at the end of May so I'm trying to plan now how I'll go about protecting these items for their final shipment. I've contacted some international companies that ship but they advise I use a half container. I'm not sure this is the wisest course of action as I don't have nearly enough items to fill up even their 20'x7'x7' containers. I'm not sure whether I'd need help crating all the items together for shipment OR whether I'll need help crating certain items that I fear will get damaged to place within a half container. Also, I'd like to know if your company could crate my items with wood approved by French authorities (I'm told if it isn't approved they will charge for fumigating the wood). I have a list of the items that I could easily send to you via email if you'd like to see specific dimensions for each thing in order to give me an estimate. I thought the first step was to find out if your service can indeed crate the items. Thanks very much!
