Inquiry (采购产品): molecular sieves Dear Sir or Madam, I wish to talk to some one from technical service. I am a senior chemist formulating new resin systems for composite applications in the aerospace area. I have little knowledge of molecular sieves, but I have an idea regarding two possible uses of them; 1- I am working with phenolic resole resins. These contain up to 10% water as received from the supplier. Have you a pelletized molecule sieve that I could add to these that would remove the water? Would methanol interfere? Would free phenol interfere? 2- Phenolic resole resins give off water as they cure with heat. I then would take the ‘water free’ phenolic resin and add a fine powdered molecular sieve that would remove the water as the phenolic cures. Does this sound feasible? I can give more details. Please call me and we can discuss.
