I need glass tubes Inquiry (采购产品): I need glass tubes Sales: I am looking for a quote on small, fracture resistant glass tubes. They will be about 1" height and will need to be permanently sealed (in a leak-proof manner) later. Use: To give you an idea of what I need--here is the intended use. I make custom jewelry, and I want to manufacture a special religious cross. The cross will be about 1.5 inches high, and filled with holy water blessed by the pope. I originally wanted the "stem" of the cross to be crystal, so people could see the water--but crystal is too fragile. I then casted the cross as entirely hollow, filled it with holy water, and laser sealed it--this works but people cannot "see" the water. What I would like to try now is to have the water in a sealed glass vial. I will cast the gold cross around the vial and leave an opening in the shaft of the cross so people can see the water inside. Thus I need a glass vial, thin but sturdy, open when manufactured but able to be sealed after I put the water in. I cannot have a traditional large twist-cap, as it would be difficult to fashion a cross around that. The cap must be air-tight, and as small as possible. Even a "pin-hole" opening in the glass tube would be good (I insert the water by injection with a tiny needle. All I need to do is plug that tiny hole afterwards. I have tried various methods of sealing glass and plastic vials, but find that body heat alone is enough to vaporize the water and cause it to leak out over time. Thus the sealing must be air-tight. Can you produce anything that would fit this description: A thin but strong glass vial, about 1" tall and 1/8 inch wide, with a tiny (sealable) opening at one end. I need both the vial and a sealer. This water is rare and expensive to obtain, so it cannot leak out--ever.
