Inquiry (采购产品): Jewel bearing Hello, My name is Jonathan Sherman and I work for E.S. Ritchie and Sons in Massachusetts. We manufacture magnetic compasses for the Marine industry. Integral to the compass is the jewel/pivot bearing that allows the compass dial to rotate freely in the compass fluid. Currently we are using between 150,000 -200,000 jewels a year in 4 types depending on sales. Our Jewels are mounted in brass or plastic posts and that assembly operation is done by an outside vendor. In an effort to bring that assembly in house we are searching for a jewel provider. Is this is the type of part your company can provide.
