Job Quote Inquiry (采购产品): Job Quote Hello- Could you tell me if the following job is one that AW&F would be interested in, and if so, could I get a quote? I'm an artist looking to start a boutique lighting design business with fixtures using lenses that I would cast in colored resin. I'm looking for someone to fabricate the metal framework for these small, 4-sided, hanging lighting fixtures. I have created a cardboard and wood framework of how I think the lamp framework will appear. For your reference, I have a photo of this which I can email you, but your ThomasNet format did not allow me to attach it here. The dimensions are approximately 9.5" tall, with a 6"-sided square at the top, and a 5"-sided square at the bottom. There would need to be a metal strap across the top for attaching the electrical socket and hanging hardware. Since this is to be a lamp, I would like the framework to be as minimal as possible to block little light, yet substantial enough to maintain strength (I'm approximating the combined weight of the lenses to be 5 pounds). I would need the top and bottom squares to have holes, pins, or some other method for securing a lens to each side. Please understand that I'm a novice at designing such a framework; I would greatly appreciate your expertise in engineering the piece properly. Also, since cosmetics are a concern, it will need some sort of finish. Since this is a new venture and I may learn that I need to change my proportions and/or sizes as I begin producing these fixtures, I would initially like to have you produce a small quantity of frames. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on materials, timing, minimum quantities, and methods I may use for attaching the lenses to the framework. Thanks for your help.
