Inquiry (采购产品): U-Bolt Corrosion Pretreat and Coating I have a 1/4 diameter u-bolt x 24 inch long that is literally u-shaped and it is for a battery tray hold down device. The legs are all 8 inches long each. It is made from galvanized steel wire, SAE 1010 steel. I need to pretreat this part prior to coating it, but care must be taken to prevent parts from being damaged from mechanical pretreat (shot blast), if used. The volume is 220,000 units per year. How much would this process cost FOB your facility, what matl rate, run rate, and how much shelf life would I have before parts oxidize before coating. The coating is Ford S439 corrosion protection, per Ford WSS-M21P37-A1, which requires a zinc phos or alkaline clean and mechanical (shot blast) pretreatment, then a zinc-rich basecoat , afterwards integrally lubricated aluminum-rich topcoat silver, to meet 840 neutral salt spray hrs for ferrous corrosion. Please call with any questions. I need a rough answer ASAP.
