Inquiry (采购产品): RFQ for Affinity Devices - Pot Core transformer I ask you to quote winding a pot core transformer for us. Please quote in quanities 1K and 10K. Bobbin & Pot Core: Uses Ferroxcube bobbin # CP-P9/5-1S and pot core # P9/5-3DS-E63. Magnet wire: Use insulated solderable wire. The transformer will handle only 80-100 volts. The wires will be soldered to a PCB. Wire Termination: We have been mechanically stripping the ends (fine sandpaper). We would prefer using a solderable wire. The wires will be twisted and exiting the pot core on opposite sides of the pot core. The leads should be trimmed to 0.6 inch. The secondary will be 6 layers each having 14 turns of 34 AWG magnet wire. The primary will be 8 turns of 30 AWG magnet wire. Pot core adhesive: The pot core halves should be glued together. You can select this. We have used a CA adhesive because it was on our shelf. Product use: This coil will be encapsulated into an underwater signaling device. Estimated usage: 1K in Q4-06/Q1-07 followed by 10K in 2007. I do not have a schedule for the 2007 usage, as yet. Please see the attached images of our hand wound prototypes.
